The Spark Team is so excited to announce our newest Strategic Growth Manager In Texas, Sugeid Rendon! 

Sugeid joined the Spark team in February as our newest Strategic Growth Manager. The Spark team is looking forward to Sugeid breathing new life into the Texas Medicare market as she builds out her base from San Antonio! Sugeid brings the professionalism of 10 years at Aetna and United Healthcare and the entrepreneurial drive that will lead the Spark agent team to significant growth. Sugeid lives in San Antonio and enjoys walking the river and trying all the new restaurants in town, a true foodie! 

You may be wondering how Sugied received her name. Her Uncle randomly heard someone call their daughter “Sugeid” and thought it had a nice ring to it. He couldn’t help himself but recommend the name to Sugeid’s mother when she was pregnant. She still doesn’t know how the name should be spelled, but at the very least she has a very original naming story and you can call her Su for short.

What does Su bring to the Spark team?

Su has an amazing work ethic and her career journey proves it. Su started as a Customer Service Associate and worked her way up to becoming the local Medicare Broker Manager at Aetna, talk about growth! From her eight years at Aetna, Su was able to deep dive into Medicare knowledge and provide excellent support to agents and beneficiaries. Su has trained and managed over 800 local independent agents, and led the expansion into new states, such as New Mexico. 

Medicare became a passion for Su because it gives her the opportunity to work with seniors, helping them live healthier lives while providing them peace of mind regarding their health coverage. Su spent her entire childhood with her grandparents, making memories to last a lifetime, and sparked (see what I did there?) her interest in working in healthcare with seniors.  

Now, Su joins Spark to help local agents in Texas grow their business by leveraging Spark’s CRM platform and back-office support to help every Medicare beneficiary take control of their health.

Su is looking forward to helping our agency partners grow by leveraging Spark’s tools, such as our CRM platform, marketing center, and client services team; as well as working with our partners to identify what competitive advantages they can develop based on their own unique backgrounds.
